CBC History Capitol Broadcasting Company, Inc. (CBC) is a diversified communications company with headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina. Founded in 1937, CBC was built on hard work, creativity, and a commitment to our audiences, our clients, our communities, and our employees. The company has thrived over the years under the leadership of its founder, AJ Fletcher, his son Fred Fletcher, and his grandson, Jim Goodmon and under the tutelage of Corporate Secretary Scottie Stephenson.
