How To Help the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Eastern North Carolina Chapter:
Light The NightJoin other community members in participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk. The walk is a two-mile evening walk to celebrate and commemorate the lives of those touched by blood cancer. Flickering balloons are the signature item of this event with supporters carrying red balloons and survivors carrying white balloons.

Light the Night logoThis year's walks are taking place on

  • Saturday, Sept. 9 in Downtown Raleigh and
  • Thursday, Sept. 14 in Research Triangle Park.

The group comes together at 5:30pm for a time of music, entertainment, food, and family activities. The walk will begin at 7pm following a brief program highlighting honored patients and supporters. The evening concludes upon the walker's return with dessert, more festivities and an announcement of the total raised by participants.
