About the Pines of Carolina Girl Scout Council:
Pines of Carolina Girl Scout Council exists to meet the unique needs of girls and to help them grow into caring and confident young women. Girl Scout program opportunities are contemporary in design to deepen awareness of self and others, to build self-esteem and self-reliance, and to increase young girls’ abilities to succeed in the world and make a positive impact on the community.
Each year Pines of Carolina serves more than 23,000 girls which breaks out to one in every eight girls, ages five to 17 in central North Carolina. Members hail from diverse ethnic, linguistic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds, and include girls who are physically and mentally challenged.
Girls can become a member of Girl Scouts when they start kindergarten. Programs are available for girls up through the 12th grade. |

How To Be A Part of the Pines of Carolina Girl Scouts:
All girls ages five to 17 are invited to join the fun, friendship, and power of girls together.
Adults are also encouraged to register as Girl Scout members and can serve in many volunteer positions available to both women and men. Girl Scout volunteers are inspiring and invaluable, and they have a profound effect on everyone they help.

Pines of Carolina relies on the generosity of individuals, foundations, corporations, and community organizations to provide the $145 it costs the council to serve one girl for one year. All money raised stays in Pines of Carolina Girl Scout Council to provide services to its members. |
