About the Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibit:
The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh is hosting an exhibition of the Dead Sea Scrolls from June 28 to December 28.

Dead Sea ScrollsThe Dead Sea Scrolls - objects of great mystery, intrigue and significance - are widely acknowledged to be among the greatest archaeological treasures ever discovered.

This once-in-a-lifetime exhibit visited Charlotte in 2006, and brought 222,000 people to their Museum.

Over 2,000 years old, the Dead Sea Scrolls are our bridge to a period that laid the foundation of western traditions, beliefs and practices throughout the past two millennia.

More Details about the Dead Sea Scroll Exhibit:
The N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences is open Mon - Sat from 9am - 5pm and Sun from noon to 5pm. Admission to the Museum itself is free. Prices to enter the Dead Sea Scroll Exhibit are as follows:
Dead Sea Scrolls*Adults - $22
*Students/Seniors (60+)/Military with ID - $16
*Children (5 to 11) - $12
*Children under 5 - $3

A Distinguished Lecture Series pertaining to the Dead Sea Scrolls will offer an opportunity to learn about the scrolls from internationally acclaimed scholars. All lectures will be held in the Museum auditorium at 7pm. Light refreshments will be on sale in the Acro Cafe prior to lectures beginning at 6:15pm. For dates, speakers & topics, click here.
