Blood Drives & Organ Donations

CBC believes in giving to the community in a very personal way through blood drives and organ donation. CBC holds blood drives four times each year for its employees, collecting over 160 pints per year.

In 2003, WRAL-TV launched a campaign to encourage community members to become organ donors. Simply checking the organ donor box on your driver's license may not insure your wishes will be carried out, so WRAL created an organ donor card. Signed in front of two witnesses, this card is legally binding. Print and fill out the card, carry it in your wallet and tell your family members. Share Your Life, Share Your Decision.
