MIX 101.5 employees volunteer to stuff backpacks.

On Tuesday, December 16, 2008, a group of WRAL-FM employees spent an hour at the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle near downtown Raleigh.   The MIX volunteers donated their time to stuff bag for the Backpack Buddies Program. 

In August, MIX held a food drive for the program, collecting 7,116 pounds of food and almost $6,000 in monetary donations.

Some volunteers worked from noon to 1pm and another group from 4-5pm.  Both groups working together stuffed a total of 175 bags.
