CBC's MetroBravos are all the more impressive when you look at the honorees standing beside, and under, them. The Durham Bulls beat out the Carolina Hurricanes and ACC basketball as the favorite sporting event in the Triangle, and WRAL.com swept awards in all the online categories, winning over national sites like CNN.com and MSNBC.com in the news category, and ranking beside powerhouses like ESPN.com and the Weather Channel's site in other categories. There are three types of winners. The Standing Ovation takes the top slot, with the MetroBravo next and then Honorable Mention.
