Wolfpack Sports Marketing recently helped the Wolfpack football team provide a special treat for some of the struggling members of the community. New N.C. State Football Head Coach Tim O’Brien and a dozen of his players recently took a break from practice to help serve lunch and visit with residents at the Raleigh Rescue Mission. O’Brien is new to the Wolfpack and says he wants to contribute to the community and teach his players to do so as well.
WSM Account Executive Eric Quimby put the event together with the football office and the Rescue Mission after Southern-style BBQ restaurant Red, Hot & Blue came up with the idea. “Following the success of our recycling program and Hoops for Hope, we're delighted that we were able to coordinate Coach O'Brien's first-ever community service event at NCSU,” said WSM General Manager Brian Asbill. “I doubt it will be the last.
