Wool E. Bull, along with a Bulls jersey-clad Hulk, has made the cover of a Marvel Comic Book.

Marvel Entertainment and the Durham Bulls are pleased to announce the creation of a new comic book with a cover featuring Wool E. Bull, The Incredible Hulk, Iron-Man and Spider-Man. The first 2,500 fans at the ballpark on Thursday, August 16th will receive the limited edition collector's copy of the Marvel comic Triple-A Baseball Heroes featuring the variant Durham Bulls cover painted by John Watson (Uncanny X-Men, Civil War: Frontline, Incredible Hulk). The comic book is penciled by Marvel artist Robert Adkins, inked by Rick Ketchum and Drew Geraci and written by Chris Eliopoulos.

"When you think about all of the people who grew up reading comic books, to see the Durham Bulls featured on the cover of an actual Marvel™ comic is incredible," Durham Bulls General Manager Mike Birling said, "I think kids of all ages are going to want to get here early to make sure they get a copy."

In addition to the comic book giveaway, the Bulls will have $1 hot dogs, french fries and popcorn on August 16th as they take on the Indianapolis Indians at 7:00pm. Tickets are available here or by calling the Bulls box office at 956-BULL (2855).
