Help MIX 101.5 Keep the Bell Ringing for The Salvation Army

WRAL-FM's " Bill and Sheri Celebrity Bell Ring" begins Monday, December 13th.

MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM is devoting the entire month of December to helping the local Salvation Army raise funds for their Christmas Cheer Campaign and educating the public about their services.  The 2004 campaign began December 1st and will run through December 20th .

To aid in the annual Christmas Kettle Campaign, MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM will host the “Bill and Sheri Celebrity Bell Ring” on Monday, December 13th.  The event will be held at Crabtree Valley Mall, outside of Belk (the entrance facing Barnes and Noble), from 8am to 8pm.  Many local celebrities will keep the bell ringing throughout the twelve-hour event.  The celebrities include 11 WRAL TV-5 personalities, Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison, Theatre in the Park's Ira David Wood III, Raleigh Mayor Charles Meeker and mascots Wool E. Bull, from the Durham Bulls, and Stormy, from the Carolina Hurricanes.  MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM personalities Bill Jordan, Sheri Logan, Diane Ramsey, Jim Kelly and Ray Thomas will be ringing the bell throughout the day as well.  The proceeds from this event will go directly to the local Salvation Army effort.

It's the warmest, most familiar holiday sound of all…The Salvation Army bells ringing.  It means that needy families all over the Triangle are getting the help they need.  But, without you, the bell stops ringing.  So join with MIX 101.5 and keep the bell ringing on Monday, December 13th and throughout the rest of the month.  Stop at the red kettle outside your favorite store and please give generously this holiday season!

If you cannot make it out to Bill & Sheri's Celebrity Bell Ring, you can donate online.
