The FOX Sales Advisory Committee (SAC) recently elected FOX50 General Sales Manager Evelyn Booker as its Vice Chairman. Booker will serve a two year term and then take over Chairmanship of the SAC.
The FOX Sales Advisory Committee (SAC) consists of sales managers of FOX Affiliates representing 18 different geographic regions of the country. Formed in 1987, the SAC serves as a conduit between the FOX Affiliate body and the FOX Broadcasting Company (FBC) on issues affecting sales. The SAC holds monthly conference calls with FBC to discuss current issues affecting local FOX stations. In addition, the SAC works closely with the network to arrange annual Regional Sales Seminars. The SAC works year-round and is playing an increasingly bigger role in assisting FBC and its Affiliate body in a rapidly changing media environment. As Vice Chairman, Booker will monitor subcommittees and chair meetings in the Chairman's absence. In conjunction with the Chairman, she will prepare meeting agendas and notes, serve as a contact for SAC members and with the FOX liaison, and determine SAC's annual subcommittees. Previously Booker served on the board, a pre-requisite to running for Vice Chairman. She represented the "Atlanta Two" region, which includes ten stations in the southeast, beginning in 2000. |
