Wins 9 Regional Emmy Awards |

On February
5, 2000, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS)
awarded their annual Regional
Emmy Awards in Nashville, Tenn. The academy honors and inspires
excellence through the internationally recognized Emmy Award, the
most prestigious honor that can be bestowed in television. NATAS
has 17 Chapters nationwide. The Midsouth Chapter represents the
States of North Carolina and Tennessee, and the television markets
of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Huntsville, Alabama.
Fifty-seven
awards were presented from over 650 entries, which were judged by
the Seattle Chapter of NATAS, and tabulated by Kurt Vitolo of the
accounting firm of Sussman and Associates. National Trustee C. Paul

presented the Governors'
Award for Lifetime Achievement to James F. Goodmon, President and CEO
of Capitol Broadcasting Company for his contributions to the community as
as as his outstanding achievements in broadcasting.
