Thad Eure, Jr. Memorial Award The Thad Eure, Jr. Memorial Award was established to honor the memory of the Triangle legend for whom the award is named. Eure is best known as the owner of the Angus Barn, but also launched other successful Triangle restaurants, including the 42nd Street Oyster Bar in downtown Raleigh.
