Groundbreaking
For The Healing Place
The
Healing Place of Wake County is a facility designed to provide support
and a recovery program to homeless people with substance abuse problems.
It will be located on a beautiful 4.5-acre track of land on the Dorothea
Dix Campus in Raleigh, NC. It is an innovative treatment center for the
homeless modeled after a successful program in Kentucky.
| "Today's
groundbreaking brings us one step closer to actively addressing the
issues of homelessness and substance abuse in Wake County," said
Fred Barber, board president for The Healing Place. |
