Capitol AgriBusiness/WRAL-TV Farm Reporter Wilkinson Wins "Best of NAMA"

Dan Wilkinson won a NAMA award for excellence in agrimarketing.

Dan Wilkinson of Capitol AgriBusiness/WRAL-TV was awarded the "Best of NAMA" award in the category 'Radio/Audio News', for both the Carolinas/Virginia Chapter and for Region 5 at the awards ceremony held in Richmond, Virginia.

The "Best of NAMA" is designed to recognize excellence in agrimarketing and is a program of the National Agrimarketing Association. The entry is now being judged on the national level.

Dan's submission was from a series of radio programs on his weekday "COTTON NEWS" program that airs on Capitol AgriBusiness stations from Virginia to North Florida. The series was recorded with cotton farm leaders in the southeast and featured the farmers telling in their own words what Cotton Incorporated had done for them.
