The Durham Bulls
will once again host "The Field of Dreams" Career Expo at the Durham
Bulls Athletic Park this Thursday September 28 from 4:00 to 8:00
pm. The event attracted over 1,500 job seekers last year, so the
Expo is back by popular demand.
Seventy-five
Triangle companies are slated to attend, including Capitol Broadcasting
Company, Bell South,

Bulls
Sales Manager / Special Events Chip Hutchinson and Former Sales Manager
Matt West "dreamed up" the "Field of Dreams" Career Expo last year. In
making calls about sponsorships for the Bulls, Hutchinson got the response
from a lot of companies that they purchased Bulls sponsorships for recruiting
purposes. The many Triangle companies compete for the same people. Hutchinson
said, "We wanted to offer an event they could strictly use for recruiting."
Thus the Bulls Job Fair was born. Because of the success of the event,
with a name change to Career Expo, the job fair will be an annual event
at the ballpark.
