Bulls Announce Wool E. Bull Birthday Beanies

The Bulls open their 1999 season on Thursday, April 8 at 7:00 p.m. against the Richmond Braves. New for 1999, the Bulls offer opening night tickets as part of a three-game mini plan called, "Wool E. Bull's Birthday Beanie Package." The ticket package sells for $16.50 and includes three Bulls games as well as the commemorative 1999 Wool E. Bull Birthday Beanie.

Fans receive Gallery or Diamond View seating at the three most popular games of the year:

• Opening Night - April 8, 1999 vs. Richmond Brave: Come and enjoy the festivities as the Durham Bulls raise their 1998 Championship banner and look to satrt their 1999 season off with a win against their South Division rivals - the Richmond Braves, the top affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. This will truly be a special night!
• Wool E. Bull's Birthday Party - July 18, 1999 vs. Columbus Clippers: Join Wool E. and his friends at the ballpark to celebrate his 7th birthday. Birthday cake will be served, and children 12 and under are invited on-field after the game to run the bases. Plus, it's autograph day at the DBAP! With the Bulls' newest mini plan, fans receive a commemorative Wool E. Bull Birthday Beanie on this day, too.
• Fan Appreciation Night - September 3, 1999 vs. Norfolk Tides: Wrap up the season with a bang... a fireworks show after the game! It may be the Bulls last game, but more likely just the start to a Championship run in the playoffs. The Bulls roll out the red carpet for this special day in gratitude to all the great fans throughout the year.
