MIX 101.5 Radiothon - Another Stellar Event

Over the last five years, MIX 101.5 has raised over $2 million for the children at Duke Children's Hospital. On Sunday, June 6th, Bill and Schatzie presented a check in the amount of $728,436 to Duke Children's Hospital from MIX listeners. Over 350 volunteers answered phones and took pledges during the 101.5 hour, 4 1/2 day event.

Some of the bigger ticket items were: Front Row Tickets to the Shania Twain Concert that raised $3,000 for each pair and 3 pairs of US Open week-long passes, which brought in $5,000 each pair. Also, nearly 1200 people participated in the 12x12 program...$12 each month, for 12 months. This year's radiothon raised over $120k more than last year's.
