Jim Goodmon Awarded the Digital Pioneer Award

On April 19, 1999, Broadcasting and Cable and Digital Television Magazines presented Jim Goodmon with one of three Digital Pioneer Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada. Goodmon was awarded this great honor for his leadership in bringing the first US digital station to the air and for the role models he and WRAL-HD have become in encouraging others in the broadcasting industry to tackle the HDTV challenge.
