MIX Supports the Special Olympics Summer Games Volunteer Efforts

Special Olympics MIX Happenings MIX 101.5 hosted another successful Special Olympics Drive. On Saturday, January 30th, Bill & Schatzie took to the airwaves from 10am - 2:00pm. This time, the focus was on getting the children involved. Bill & Schatzie interviewed athletes from previous Special Olympics, volunteer coordinators, and children that have been involved with the spectator teams. In just four short hours, over 1400 volunteer applications were requested. MIX 101.5 continues to pass out volunteer applications at all station events. The need for volunteers is kept top-of-mind as we have a special olympics announcement every other hour.
