WRAL-TV Donates Proceeds from Cookbook Sales to Charity

On March 16th at 1pm, WRAL-TV5 and Hannaford presented proceeds from "Never Diet Again" cookbook sales, totaling $24,758, to local nonprofit organizations, which included InterFaith Food Shuttle, Food Bank of NC and NC Nutrition Network. WRAL-TV, in partnership with Hannaford, sold more than 7600 "Never Diet Again" cookbooks and inserts.




Lynn Hoggard, WRAL-TV5, presents a symbolic check to Jill Bullard, the Executive Director of the Interfaith Food Shuttle.




This is the second year WRAL has donated cookbook proceeds to local non-profits. Last year, the NC Nutrition Network and InterFaith Food Shuttle both received donations from "Never Diet Again" cookbook sales. For more information, contact Cindy Sink at 821-8643.
