WRAL-TV Starts Career Exploration Program

WRAL-TV has started a new program that will give employees the opportunity to gain useful knowledge about the operation of other departments within the station. This exposure to the other aspects of WRAL-TV will be a helpful guide in aiding employees in their career choices. Employees will spend five hours per week for six months working with a team of professionals learning what important role each department plays in the big picture.

The first recipient of the new WRAL-TV Career Exploration Program is Camia Francine "Frankie" Hemby. Frankie joined the Operations Staff in January of 1996 as a Crew Member after receiving her BA Degree from Campbell University, with a concentration in Radio and Television Broadcasting. During her tenure with the station, she has proven to be an asset to the department and has developed an interest in other areas of the station.
