1998 United Arts Campaign

Capitol Broadcasting Company raised $11,596 during the 1998 United Arts Campaign. More than 45 CBCers contributed a total of $8,400 in support of the arts in Wake County. That is an increase of more than $1,000 over last year's total.

United Arts supports over 40 arts organizations, 88 public/private schools and eleven municipalities in Wake County alone, as well as dozens of individual artists and writers.

Durham CBCers contributed over $700 dollars to the Durham Arts Fund. The Durham Arts Fund supports more than 30 arts organizations in Durham County.
