All fans are invited to attend the stadium ground breaking celebration on Wednesday, March 11th, at 3:00 pm. Bring the whole family to 21st Avenue North in Myrtle Beach for entertainment, refreshments, live music, and games. You'll get a sneak preview of the stadium, plus a chance to win two season tickets and a catered tailgate party for 20 people! The location of the ground breaking celebration is 21st North, across from the Senior's Center. Parking is available directly across the street at Broadway at the Beach; a trolley will run continuously from the parking area to the site

The event will be hosted by music star Steve Gatlin. The actual ceremony takes place at 4:00 pm. All refreshments and entertainment, including the games, are free to the public!

Activities include:

• Dixieland jazz music by The Erich Hunn Quintet
• Speedpitch (radar-determined speed of the ball)
• Sumo Wrestling (inflatable game for those who dare)
• Dinger (the team's home run dog)
• Myron Noodleman (an obnoxious fan) & Sport (the former Philly Fanatic mascot)
• Snow cones, cotton candy and giveaways for kids
• Giant decorated sheet cake & refreshments from Pepsi
