WDNC Raises $7500 for Charity

WDNC "The News Station" raised $7500 for Durham area charities at the Bob Harris Celebrity Golf Tournament at Durham's Washington-Duke Golf Course on April 17th. Bob is the play-by-play voice of the Duke Blue Devils.

The money raised benefited three charities: The Durham Rescue Mission, St. Phillip's Community Kitchen, and Mid-State Spina Bifida. This year's tournament raised $1500 more than last year's tournament with almost 100 golfers participating.

The winning team included Capitol Network's Tony Haynes, Bob Wright, Bob Clarke and WDNC's Pat Patterson.
