Microspace Division News Microspace proudly announces the acquisition of a third full transponder on the Galaxy IV satellite. Microspace will begin beaming customer content to it on July 1st. The new transponder accommodates growth for paging and financial data delivery. Microspace is the world's largest provider of satellite broadcasting services for audio and data, providing programming to more than 225,000 receive sites. Velocity, Microspace's video and high-speed data satellite broadcasting service, added several new nationwide accounts. They include: Teletraining Institute SeaChange International Polish TV USA Serbian Television Network Cambodian Satellite AT&T Skynet presented Microspace with a Bronze Uplinker of the Year award for 1996. The award recognizes satellite uplinkers that maintain flawless uplinking operation for the entire year.
